• Payment Information: Payment transactions processed through Telebirr. We do not store your Telebirr PIN or full financial details — payment processing is handled entirely by Telebirr's secure system.
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system for security and performance monitoring.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely for the following purposes related to our educational platform:

• AI Tutoring: To provide personalized educational content and AI-powered tutoring tailored to your grade and subjects.
• Progress Tracking: To save and display your learning progress, quiz scores, and study history.
• Quiz Scoring: To generate, administer, and score quizzes, and track your academic performance over time.
• Referral Program: To track referral sign-ups, calculate earnings (50 ETB per referral), and process payouts via Telebirr.
• Payment Processing: To process subscription payments through Telebirr and maintain billing records.
• Account Management: To create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, and provide customer support.
• Platform Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve the quality of our AI tutor, content, and overall platform experience.
• Communication: To send important service notifications, account updates, and educational content (no spam).

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share information only with the following trusted third parties to operate our service:

• Telebirr: Payment processing partner. They handle all financial transactions securely. We share only the minimum data required to process payments (transaction amount and your Telebirr identifier). telebirr.et
• AI Model Provider: Our AI chat processing is powered by a third-party AI model provider. Chat messages are processed to generate educational responses and are not stored by the provider beyond the session. We do not share your personal identification with the AI provider.
• Email Service: We use an email delivery service to send account-related emails (verification, password reset, notifications). Your email address is shared only for this purpose.

We may also disclose data if required by Ethiopian law or to protect the safety of our users or the public.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• No Advertising: We do not show any third-party advertisements to students. The platform is ad-free.
• No Data Sales: Student data is never sold to or shared with advertisers or data brokers.
• Curriculum-Only Content: Our AI tutor is locked to Ethiopian curriculum content and does not engage in non-educational conversations.
