1. Description of Service

GasheAI is an AI-powered educational tutoring platform designed specifically for Ethiopian students in Grades 9 through 12. Our service provides:

• AI-powered tutoring aligned with the new Ethiopian curriculum (40+ subjects)
• Multi-choice quiz (MCQ) generation with scoring and progress tracking
• A timed quiz system with difficulty levels and score history
• A floating dictionary widget for instant word translation in 5 languages (English, Amharic, Afaan Oromoo, Somali, Tigrinya)
• Subject-specific discussion rooms for real-time peer collaboration
• EUEE (Entrance Exam) preparation with practice questions
• Progress tracking, points system, and learning analytics

The platform is accessible via web browser at gasheai.com. No app download is required.

2. Eligibility

To use GasheAI, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old, or have parental/guardian permission if under 13.
• Be a student or individual seeking educational content from the Ethiopian curriculum.
• Have access to a compatible device (phone, tablet, or computer) with internet connectivity.
• Not be barred from using the service under applicable law.

3. Account Registration & Security

Registration is phone-based:

• You must register using a valid phone number.
• You may also provide an email address for account recovery and notifications.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.
• You may not share your account with others. Each account is for individual use only.
• GasheAI reserves the right to suspend accounts that show signs of sharing or abuse.

4. Subscription Plans & Free Trial

After the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the platform:

• Regular Plan: 300 ETB/month
• 6-Month Plan: 1,584 ETB (save 12%)
• Annual Plan: 2,880 ETB/year (save 20%)

All plans include full access to all subjects, the AI tutor, quizzes, discussion rooms, and all other features. Payment is processed exclusively through Telebirr.

5. Acceptable Use

By using GasheAI, you agree to:

• Use the platform only for educational purposes — studying Ethiopian curriculum subjects.
• Not attempt to abuse, overload, or disrupt the AI system or platform infrastructure.
• Not use automated scripts, bots, or tools to interact with the platform.
• Not share your account credentials or subscription with others.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI model or platform code.
• Not use the platform for any unlawful, harassing, or harmful purpose.
• Be respectful in discussion rooms and towards other students.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important information about our AI-generated content:

• AI-generated explanations and answers are provided for educational reference purposes.
• While our AI is trained on Ethiopian curriculum textbooks, we cannot guarantee that every response is 100% error-free.
• Students are encouraged to verify AI responses with their official textbooks and consult their teachers for critical exam preparation.
• GasheAI is a supplementary learning tool, not a replacement for classroom instruction or textbooks.

7. Intellectual Property

• GasheAI Platform: The platform, including its design, code, branding, AI model integration, and user interface, is the intellectual property of GasheAI and is protected by applicable law.
• Your Data: You own your personal data, learning progress, and quiz scores. You may request access to or deletion of this data at any time.
• Ethiopian Curriculum: Educational content is based on publicly available Ethiopian Ministry of Education curriculum materials.
• You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the platform's content, design, or code without written permission.

8. Referral Program

GasheAI offers a referral rewards program:

• Each user receives a unique referral link/code.
• When someone signs up using your referral link, you earn 50 ETB.
• After accumulating 5 successful referrals (250 ETB), you can request a payout via Telebirr.
• Referrals are only counted when the referred user creates a verified account.
• GasheAI reserves the right to void referral earnings from fraudulent or duplicate accounts.

9. Payment & Refunds

• All payments are processed through Telebirr. GasheAI does not directly handle or store your financial information.
• You are responsible for ensuring sufficient Telebirr balance before making a payment.
• No refunds are provided after a subscription period has started, except in cases of confirmed technical issues where the platform was inaccessible.
• If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the platform, please contact admin@gasheai.com within 48 hours for review.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current paid period.

10. Limitation of Liability

GasheAI is an educational tool and does not guarantee specific academic results, exam scores, or university admission outcomes. By using the platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

• GasheAI is not liable for any academic decisions made based on AI-generated content.
• GasheAI is not responsible for any loss of data due to technical issues beyond our control (force majeure, server outages, etc.).
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your current subscription period.
• The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

11. Dispute Resolution

For any disputes, complaints, or concerns:

• Please contact us first at admin@gasheai.com. We aim to resolve all issues within 14 business days.
• If the issue cannot be resolved, it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ethiopia.
• Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the appropriate courts of Ethiopia.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Ethiopian courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

GasheAI may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
